Statement about the AKL Paths project.

An online guide for walking and cycling trips

Snapper Graphics is proud to be a contributor to the AKL Paths project.

Inititated and created by Auckland Council, in partnership with Downer, AKL Paths is a fast-growing collection of short to medium length walking and/or cycling routes. The paths help Aucklanders discover their local and regional parks and reserves, and provide an easy way to get out there and get fit. This project is based on the ESRI ArcGIS mapping system. Snapper was invited to help populate the system with easy access, attractive routes.

Users can pick their preferences to search for suggestions.

The website works beautifully on mobile devices and users can track their progress as they walk the path.

Snapper Graphics has submitted content for more than 50 paths for this project, building on extensive local knowledge around the Auckland region. The samples shown are all from paths we have submitted.
